SUN CHEMICAL To launch new pigment colors for cosmetics formulators at IN-COSMETICS BRASIL 2015

CINCINNATI, OHIO – September 10, 2015 − Visitors attending in-cosmetics Brasil 2015 on September 30-October 1, will be introduced to 13 new color effects from Sun Chemical Performance Pigments’ portfolio of innovative products that will enhance creativity and provide innovative solutions for cosmetic formulators.

“Cosmetic consumers want more choices in their make-up. They especially want more color choices and dazzling effects,” said Kelly Dobos, Cosmetics Technical Manager at Sun Chemical Performance Pigments. “That’s what Sun Chemical will showcase at in-cosmetics Brasil — eye popping colors that are sure to please consumers and meet the highest purity standards and specifications of all global regulations in the market, as required by cosmetic formulators.”

Sun Chemical to Launch 10 New Colors to its SunSHINE® Line of Pearlescent Pigments

Visitors of stand #J40 can learn more about 10 new colors added to Sun Chemical’s SunSHINE line of pure synthetic mica-based pearlescent pigments.

Designed to fit with future trends and help designers formulate unique color and effects, the 10 new pigment colors range from silver and gold metallic effects to bright, sparkling accents in green and blue.

SunSHINE pigments provide some of the lowest residual heavy metals levels available in the market, and their transparency, luster, chroma, broad range of particles sizes, and smoothness make them ideally suited for use in all finished product formulations.

Sun Chemical to Introduce Three New Color Effects to its INTENZA® Portfolio

Formulators who visit Sun Chemical’s booth will be introduced to three bold new color effects from its INTENZA product portfolio.

The next generation of INTENZA combines certified organic colorants with an alumina substrate resulting in remarkable hue and chroma without the need for intense grinding and milling. These pigments are free of additives and preservatives with heavy metal specifications that surpass global regulatory requirements.
