EXPO PACK México Keynote Focuses on Packaging’s Impact on Consumer Purchases

EXPO PACK México 2013 (June 18–21; Centro Banamex, Mexico City) will open with a keynote address that explores packaging’s role in marketing from Carlos Alazraki, President of the Mexican Association of Advertising (AMAP). All registered EXPO PACK México attendees may purchase tickets for the address, June 18, 10:00 am, at Centro Banamex.

Alazraki’s presentation, “The Creativity of my Product and the Impact on the Consumer,” will cover the value packaging provides to products and brands, and how it can influence the consumer’s purchasing decision.

This is just one aspect of an education-rich event, says Enrique Guzman, Latin America director for PMMI, owner and producer of EXPO PACK México 2013. The conference program, he notes, is hosted by the Mexican Packaging Association (AMEE).

The conference program, which will run June 18-20, in tandem with EXPO PACK México, will bring together a wide range of speakers and topics.

“AMEE will present an impressive group of experts and fascinating, timely presentations. Subjects will address the latest trends in the industry such as eco design and sustainability in packaging development, neuromarketing and its implementation, trends and new developments in machinery, and government support for technological development” Guzman notes.

EXPO PACK México will host more than 1,000 exhibitors from 31 countries offering solutions in packaging, processing, packaging and printing, materials and components, in 18,500 net square meters of exhibit space.
